The difference makes it work: left and right hand tools

What is a left hand and what is a right hand tool?

To find out what type of VDI tool you need or what type of tool you have in use, you should lay the tool in front of you by having the shaft point away from you. The VDI teeth should look up.

If the output of the tool shows to the right, then you have a right hand tool.

If the output of the tool shows to the left, then you have a left hand tool.

The same goes for static or live tools.
