heimatec has enjoyed a tremendous growth over the past 20 years since its becoming the fourth largest Company in Renchen, Germany.

Key events in our company's history include the following:

1987  heimatec founded by Martin Krieger in Renchen, Germany.

1992  Development of our first Live Tools.

1996  Relocation to new facility at Schwarzwaldstraße in Renchen.

2000  Relocation to a new facility in Muhrhag.

2001  Name of company changed to "heimatec Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH".

2004  Sales office was opened in Moscow and a design office in Bietigheim.

2005  Purchase and relocation to our new production facilities at Carl-Benz-Straße,
with a total floor space of 30,000 m².

2005  Number of employees increases from 50 to 79.

2007  Production of 10,000 different tools for 2,000 customers all over the world.

2007  Relaunch of heimatec's web site as an information portal
